Well, William's eczema has gotten better, but we wouldn't say it's been a significant change. It still flares up regularly, and we have to use hydrocortisone. However, there is a marked improvement in his constipation. =) But we're not sure if it's because of the prunes or the hypoallergenic formula.
It was time to call his pediatrician and I spoke to the nurse this morning. She wasn't very helpful, but said we could put him back on the original formula and see if his complexion stays the same and to see if his poop is still going strong. If there's little to no change, then he probably doesn't have a food allergy, and we may have to see the dermatologist for his eczema. If everything gets worse again, then I guess we know more definitively that it's a food allergy and we'll have to start over and try him on different formulas.
So for now, we're back on the original formula and waiting a couple more weeks to see what happens.
