airpark

We took William to the Montgomery County Airpark (which only happens to be 10 minutes away from us) and could not have picked a better day! They were having their annual airshow and were allowing people onto part of the runway strip to look at several different kinds of planes that were parked there. We were just going to the cafe near there to look at some planes up close, hoping also to see some planes land and take off. How kind of the Lord to allow us an opportunity to actually go on the runway and really look at some planes up close, check out the interior, and look at a couple of helicopters. William LOVED it. He loved seeing the planes take off and do some flybys. And he loved sitting in the military helicopter.

We had so much fun taking him on this little outing. I think this is the first time we've taken him somewhere that was of interest to him. He really likes looking at the planes that fly overhead in our neighborhood, but he had never seen one up close. Also, it's really been the first time that we have seen him excited and enjoying where he was. It was great fun! We are looking forward to many more outings with our little monkey!
