Josiah was finally able to see the doc for his 1-year check-up. We made sure to get there on time this time! Our little boy continues to be on the "little" side. =) He is 18 lbs, 5 oz (1st percentile). (Yes, I did write that correctly... 1st percentile.) And he's 29 inches long (17th percentile). So I guess he won't be playing football or basketball in his future... ;)
We talked to the doc about his throwing up whenever we introduce new foods, and she said that was to be expected. Josiah also has very mild eczema, which Doc said to just use regular lotion twice a day.
We can also begin transitioning him to milk. Yay!!! No more expensive formula! But Bill and I are debating over regular or organic whole milk. At this point, each of us would be drinking a different kind of milk. Our fridge is already filled w/all kinds of milk! Bill w/his Lactiad milk (b/c he's a lac-tard), me w/my organic 2%, William w/his soy, and Josiah w/his whole milk... organic or regular is the question. =)
Otherwise, our boy is on the little side, but in perfect health. And we are incredibly grateful to the Lord for that... organic or not! =)
