William seems to be treading in his Papa Davidson's and momma's footsteps. We both love Star Trek. Papa Davidson loves the original series, and I especially like The Next Generation and Voyager. (Enterprise was horrible though! I'm glad it got cancelled so quickly.) Anyway, they've been playing these re-runs on tv and William watches them with me. Poor little tyke doesn't really have a choice, but he has really taken to Voyager. Actually it's just the opening credits that he's enthralled with. His play area is right in front of the tv (probably not the wisest place, but it's all we've got). He usually doesn't pay any attention to the tv while he's playing, but whenever the opening credits for Voyager come on, he stops to watch. And as soon as it's done, he goes back to whatever he was doing before. It is the funniest thing to watch!!! Seriously, no matter what he's doing, as soon as he hears the opening song, he just stops to gaze... and then goes back to whatever he was doing as soon as it's over. I love watching him do this because it intrigues me so... (And we wish Papa Davidson could be here to see this.)

It's not the same as actually watching him sit enraptured by Voyager's opening credits, but here are a few snapshots...

Don't worry... he doesn't normally sit this close to the tv. It's just for the camera... =)
