potty training update...

Well, it's been almost a month since we started potty training William. He has pretty much been at a standstill since our last update. He continues to pee a little at least once a day in his underwear. From the counsel we received, we should be grateful for that b/c it's actually really good that William is able to control himself to pee only a little bit in his underwear before telling us that he has to use the potty. It demonstrates a clear understanding of what is going on. So it may just be an issue of him learning better, in time, what it feels like when he needs to use the potty before he actually goes. We were encouraged to really encourage him since he is almost there and to be patient since it's just a matter of time before he's able to learn full control. I am still striving to take him regularly during the day, but am not always able to do that at times. Have also learned that I can't trust him when he tells me he doesn't need to go. =P So just growing in sanctification on a daily basis (in more ways than this) as I wait for my dear son to someday figure it out. =)
